Administration System Customization and Extension Type Registry Master Customization and Extension Master view

The Customization and Extension Master view lists all configurations, customizations, and extensions performed in N4, regardless of the allowed user login scope. In particular, it lists:

• All custom code extensions (non-system seeded)

• All extension triggers

• All contents of database backed variforms

• Overridden metafields

• Overridden configuration settings

• All custom menu items

• All schema extensions

• All custom Groovy plug-ins (non-system seeded)

• General Notices involving Groovy code

• Enabled gate business tasks that have Groovy defined

• EDI sessions with at least one code extension specified

• Storage rules with a code extension specified

This view is helpful when you need to:

• Debug overridden configuration settings.

• Export selected items through GNX.

To find out which components support GNX, you can look up the Export Type column in the Customization and Extension Type Registry Master view (on page 1).

• Find specific XML or Groovy code. In this case, you can search the Content column.

In addition, you can use the Actions menu to:

• Launch List View for Customization Type: View or edit the details of a customization or extension item in the respective list view, such as the Code Extensions view (on page 1), provided your user has the privilege required to access the view.

You can double-click an entry to open the related form for editing. For example, if you double-click a code extension, N4 opens the Extension form (on page 1).

• Launch Customization and Extension Type Registry Master view: Launch the Customization and Extension Type Registry Master view to see a list of all customization and extension types supported in this view.

Prerequisites

• To access the view: The Extension Master View privilege.

• To launch a specific list views from this view: The System Diagnostics, and Customize UI privileges.

Since this view lists all existing configurations in N4, Navis recommends that you do not grant the Extension Master View privilege to any user who requires a scoped view.
